Exploring the Magic of Glastonbury: A Journey of Synchronicity
Updated: Jun 23
After Bath had given us space to rest and reset, it was time to listen for the next step. Before we ever left for England, I had wondered how we would know where to go. Then Erik received a message from his expanded self and asked me my favorite color. “Pink,” I answered. “That is your guide,” he said. With that simple sign, the path began to reveal itself. We soon felt led to Glastonbury for the New Moon Eclipse and Chinese New Year, and the synchronicities started to gather around us. When we pay attention to these messages, we begin to recognize the magic and guidance woven into ordinary moments. As I searched for a place to stay, only a few options appeared, but one stood out immediately: a big pink bed and breakfast called St Anne’s. We chose the Brigid room because Brigid often comes through as one of our guides in the Ascended Master oracle deck. Even the room felt like an invitation. Next, we needed to get from Bath to Glastonbury. After learning our transportation options, we chose a six-pound bus ride. It felt more like a city bus, stopping often along the way, but those pauses became part of the journey, giving us time to feel the energy of each town and meet people as we traveled.

Meeting the Hill Within
By the time we arrived, Glastonbury was already asking something of me. The walk to the bed and breakfast was uphill and farther from the bus stop than expected, and pulling our luggage made the pain in my knee impossible to ignore. Each step brought the old stories closer to the surface—the fear, hesitation, and familiar impulse to stop before moving forward. This time, instead of resisting them, I listened. I let those stories be heard while choosing, step by step, to keep going.

A Local Guide and a New Calling
That evening, as if Glastonbury were answering our willingness to be guided, we met a new friend, Ellemiek Drucker, a QHHT practitioner featured on Journeys Into the Soul. She graciously offered to show us some of her favorite places in town. Before leaving for London, we had received the message to go with the flow and make no plans, allowing the Universe to guide us through local people. Ellemiek felt like part of that unfolding. While visiting with her, I noticed a picture of the Knights Templar on the wall behind her. She shared that she was planning to visit Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland and told us about its connection to the Knights Templar. I wondered if this, too, was a breadcrumb meant for us. The idea stirred something in both of us, and Scotland began quietly calling.

The Chapel of Stillness
The next morning, we began in stillness. During meditation, I received images in my heart space: a red rose and a delicate lily-like flower. Carrying those visions with us, we moved through Glastonbury by following what resonated in our hearts and soon felt drawn to find the Mary Magdalene chapel. It was small and intimate, with two rows of chairs facing each other and a few people sitting in meditation. Erik and I sat down, held hands, and closed our eyes. Almost immediately, we felt golden-white light enter through our crowns and ground into the Earth—the familiar flow of energy that moves through us during grid work. In that moment, I understood that the day itself was becoming a pilgrimage. We sat in silence as people came and went until, suddenly, we were alone. The stillness became palpable, and we were swept into Unity consciousness. When the energy felt complete, we rose and continued, carrying the chapel’s quiet power with us.
The Magic of Glastonbury
From that stillness, we continued walking and felt drawn to the Abbey, where King Arthur and Queen Guinevere are said to be buried. As we moved through the grounds, we sensed pockets of concentrated energy, as if the land and the ruins were speaking in a language beneath words. Joy and sadness rose together, ancient and tender. Then the first synchronicity from the morning’s meditation appeared before us: a field of tiny purple flowers, just like the delicate flower I had seen in my heart space. To us, it felt like the Universe offering a gentle wink, assuring us that we were exactly where we were meant to be. The magic of Glastonbury was evident.

Healing Waters at White Spring Well
With that reassurance still fresh, Erik felt drawn to visit White Spring Well and bathe in its healing waters, so we began making our way toward the Tor. Following the signs, I looked up and saw a steep hill ahead. My knee had begun to ache again, and I felt my body hesitate, but I also knew this was part of the teaching. I reassured my knee that we would keep moving forward, even if we needed to stop along the way. We climbed Chalice Hill, where legend says the chalice is buried, then descended toward White Spring Well. It was bitterly cold, and I was wrapped in four layers to stay warm. As we approached, the space felt cave-like and ancient, with alcoves holding different altars. The first alcove I came to was dedicated to Mary Magdalene, marked by a red rose outside and another within. It was another unmistakable synchronicity—the same red rose I had seen in meditation that morning. As Erik prepared to enter the pool, several women arrived to bathe as well, so he carefully found space and stepped into the cold plunge, which felt deeply restorative to him. While he entered the water, I placed my hands in it and allowed the energy to move through my system and into my knee. Waiting there, surrounded by stone, water, candlelight, and prayer, I felt the day working on us in layers. Then I turned a corner and found a Eastern Diety altar surrounded by red roses. It felt like a second confirmation that we were being guided along a path of healing and wholeness. By the time we left, the signs and synchronicities had woven the day together, preparing us for the ceremony that would follow.

Crossing The Eclipse Threshold
The next day, as heavy rain fell, we entered the New Moon Eclipse ceremony with the energy of Glastonbury still moving through us. Everything we had experienced—the pink guidance, the uphill climb, the chapel, the Abbey, the red roses, and the healing waters—felt as though it had been leading us to this threshold. With Brigid as our guide, we held a Sacred Sexuality ceremony to honor the season and the crossing before us. In that sacred space, our hearts opened powerfully, as if the journey had cracked something wide within us. Glastonbury is known as the Heart Chakra of the world and she opened our hearts in a magical way. Afterward, the pain in my knee began to soften until it no longer kept me from walking the streets of England. Glastonbury had helped me move through the old pattern of pain that once held me back from stepping fully into life. With each step, my body began to understand what my soul already knew: it was safe to keep moving forward. And so, renewed and open, we followed the next thread of guidance onward…to Stonehenge.
